Surfing Waves

Hi guys, what is the best way to take care of your wetsuit? Every surf session, I have been turning it inside out and spraying fresh cold water on it. After that, I leave it to dry in a cool dry place, like my garage or my shaded backyard still inside out. Please provide your opinions and experience.

You are already doing it, help not needed Use a fairy wide shouldered strong plastic coat hanger to hold the shoulder shape is about all I can add!

Thannks Jaffa, can I leave it inside out while hanging? Will not that damage it?

Not that I know of

Once I washed my wetsuit and hung it up on the fence at 'my' holiday house (my inlaws place). Without realising it fell off onto the ground and I only found it about 6 weeks later when I visited again. It had vines and plants growing through the fabric...I just pulled them out and its still perfectly useable.

don't forget to iron your suit with the iron set on low heat & no steam
(this is a joke)
