So I have a rashguard as well as a neoprene vest I can wear over it. I would like to ditch the wetsuit for the rest of the summer, but, here in NH, I think my lower regions would get pretty cold.
I saw online you can buy neoprene shorts:

Is anyone using this type of garment?
Can they be worn over speedos, so that I can take them off while hanging the beach and not sweat balls (literally  )?

Yes when I wear boardies I wear neoprene shorts underneath. It gives you a bit of warmth, although I mainly wore them because if I wear just boardies, the board tends to rub on my legs a bit.

Yup,, I do wear the neoprene and specially in the winter season or when I used go for long swimming/surfing it really keeps the body warm from the cold water.

I got some neoprene shorts, medium size, but they feel big. I think wearing them under my wetsuit it should be ok, but dunno how it's gonna be with boardies...don't want to moon anyone....also, don't want them to be dragging me down. Of course, it turned out I never got to wear boardies this summer ... but I'm gonna try them under my wetsuit next time I go.
