**need some wetsuit advice**

So i recently bought a wetsuit and made the mistake of drying it out in the sun. I have also noticed that the material has stretched out a little bit. Is it completely ruined or will I be fine if I dry it out in a properly shaded area from now on? Give me some input thanks.

I always dry my wetsuit in the sun. Yes it's probably bad for it, but as soon as it's dry I take it inside. If I didn't dry it in the sun, then I'd never have a dry wetsuit.

Yours shouldn't be damaged from leaving it once in the sun, unless you live in the middle east.

I agree, it shouldn't have damaged it if you only did it once. However, leaving it in the sun for hours after it's dry will eventually do damage to the neoprene (over a sustained period of time i would imagine) as it will become brittle and lose it's flexibility. The suits of today are meant to stretch a little to provide the room needed for paddling and comfort etc.
