8ft bag for 7'6" minimal

Postby oid » Tue Dec 14, 2004 9:12 am

Hi

I have a 7'6" minimal - would an 8ft bag be too big for this?

Cheers

It would be too big yes. You need a 7'6" bag really.

However, if you are planning to go travelling with your board, the bigger bag would allow you to wrap your board in bubblewrap and some cardboard before putting it in the bag for some extra protection from those baggage handlers.

when i bought my board it came with a free board bag and i was young and naive at the time (6months ago-ish) and my board is 7"6 and the bag 8"6 but i have not had any problems with it is perfectely balanced and has space for a towel in either end which on some trips can be quite handy and i asked the bloke whether it was aight being a foot longer and he says "yeah corz it will same as mine " but it seems fine too me anyone else got a longer bag than board like that much ?
