Re-Using and Re-Purposing Ideas?

Not enough things are re-used and re-purposed these days, and that sucks.

So, I thought maybe I could inspire a discussion on different ideas for doing just that. I put up pics of my completely free board rack I made from stuff lying around my house. It's not the best thing in the world, but it helped reduce clutter and gave some things new purpose. I know it doesn't look like much, but I'm proud of it.

Anyways, I would love to see what all ideas people out there have. I personally right now need an idea on a cheap and neat way to store a lot of broken surfboards. Also just any neat home made storage ideas for tools and materials anyone has.I hope this will get some pretty good feedback.

I like to see stuff like this. Good use of the spirit level there Perfect for keeping your boards in good order.

Is that string that holds the boards in?

I run my van on recycled vegetable oil that i collect from various different establishments.

Thanks SP. It is string, well twine to be exact. On one end I tied a hard loop and the other has some kind of slip knot I tied. It works better than I thought it would.

I still hope someone has any idea for a broken boards storage option. I need something so my fiancee doesn't start thinking I'm just a horder.
