Hi,
Do you know if it's a good idea not to use a wetsuit for a while and just store it for, say, a year? Will it have aged even if you don't use it?
Cheers!

Keep it out of the sun and use a good wetsuit hanger to keep the stress off the shoulders and you should be alright for a long time. The neoprene does age and dry out, but it takes awhile.

Many folks who use watsuits are finding out that hanging your wetsuit or drysuit from the waist will take the strain off the shoulders and reduce overall fabric stress. Waist hanging is especially good when hanging up your winter or summer suit for the season. You can use a heavy plastic clothes hanger or there is a wetsuit hanger made for waist hanging. The HangPro SlideHanger. You can also make your own from a length of 1 1/2" PVC pipe and a some plywood for the hook part.
Stay stoked

If anything place for long time, then sure it loses its compatibility so much is to use in between term for some time. or one should use during surf exercises that is much better option.

I imagine that English is not your first language, but the principle of a sentence is to make sense and be related to the topic talked about.
This one earns a WTF :?: :?: :?: :?:

if stress on the wetsuit is bad, is it okay to just lay it down flat? or is that bad for the wetsuit as well?

when it's dry you can lay it flat no problems, you can roll them fold them scrunch them, keep it rinsed after surf , don't leave it in the sun , never dry it in a machine drier. looked after well it will last quite a long time. :D

Quick tip; After a season (or just periodically) wash the suit in a cleaner. You can use dishwash detergent (although im not sure about any negative effects... comments people??) and there are many wetsuit cleaner products on the market. It's eyebrow raising how much crap gets on a wetsuit. And how much comes out after a season!
