My wetsuit boots absolutly reek. ive tried to clean them with all sorts of things. ive tried slosh, anti bacterial shower gel, ive tried soaking them in these solutions for quite some time but they just smell sooooo bad. has anybody got a good idea on how to clean them as i kid you not it could be used instead of chloroform to knock people out :bang:

Turn them inside out to dry. If you can't do that then accept the stink or buy a pair that you can turn inside out.

I use the baseline 5mm c-skins boot. Cheap, but gets the job done.

Simple Green.... it smells fresh, it disinfects (cause of most odors), it's biodegradeable, and it won't hurt neoprene. Make sure you put your booties somewhere with plenty of airflow or aim a fan at them so they dry out... the longer they stay soggy the more they'll smell.

thanks. i have the quicksilver 5mm Cypher DST S/T boot. i tried drying them in the airing cupboard and stuff. but i think ill give Simple green a go, and turn them inside out get the fan on them and keep them in the ariing cupboard. that should give some good results. Thanks for that. :)
