Home made surf racks

Postby surf patrol » Wed Oct 19, 2011 8:10 am

I spent a bit of time on saturday afternoon making a board rack in the garage to get my boards out of the way. I put it together with a bit of spare wood and a couple of cheap brackets. Simple to do, here's the result.

It isn't the best looking rack but it gets the job done, great stuff!you could have used some sofa foam to cover it,but i guess the board bags do their work!
I've fixed my shower head using surfwax, does that count?

It was quick and easy with stuff I had lying around. It does do the job. Foam would be ideal if stacking without a board bag. I could have rounded off the wood and sanded smooth.
Surf wax does just about everything!

It was good of you to show us your rack. We don't get opportunities like that too often
Just watch those brackets I've seen them fail catastrophically
I've taken up troll hunting just for fun, instead of a rifle I'll just use a pun! 冲浪爷爷
