Firstly i wouldnt worry too much about it .. " extra waterproofing " !! but if you have that much on your suit and it has to come off then im not sure if there is anything that will take it out totally especially if it has gone deep into yer suit :?
hmm a tuffy ...reckon this will fall down to the ol'boyz ( and gurls ! ) who might have ya know ,, a lil' trick they use

" good one " .. a new subject !!

warm water might help is it just like a light covering of wax on the front of your suit where you have been laying on your board, if so i wouldnt worry about it

Yep it is possible to clean most wax off your wetsuit. You won't get it all off however. Questions is....the chemicals involved like engine degreaser & very hot water will cause far more harm to your wetsuit than some boring old inert surfboard wax...why risk it???

If you really want to know, scrape most of it off. Get some engine degreaser (aerosol) and spray it directly on the wetsuit (when it is totally dry ok?). Leave for ten mins, hose off with powerful spray of cold water, then wash throughly with shampoo & warm/hot water.
It'll be clean alright...but fleshin' to boot!!!

you can buy special wetsuit shampoo that won't harm your suit.
In fact - it actually helps your suit last longer by getting rid of all the salt and chemical deposits etc.

For real?
I have a wetsuit factory not far from my house www.bodyline.co.nz and they say in all their instructions all a wetsuit needs is a good wash with fresh water & to be hung to dry in a darkish & dry place. If your pee has a high acid content (smells rank in the suit after awhile) then soak it inside out in a bath of water with disinfectant mixed in the water.
What does the Shampoo do?
Curious.
