Will I sink??

Hi,
I am thinking about buying a 6'8" nsp funboard.
I am 6'1,168lbs an will be surfing medium waves.
my main question is will i be too heavy for this board??

You won't be too heavy, but I would guess from the question that you're still a newbie to all this?
If so, you'll want something much bigger to learn on.

I wouldn't call myself a newbie as I am fairly experienced, someone from global surf industries said I would probably be to heavy.

You know I find it amazing, GSI make the boards they know their limitations and they get no credit when someone buys a board that is unsuitable and then blames the board.. I'd go a little longer and look at GSI 7S range .
BTW all GSI boards have a recommended weight range and it's better to be oversized than under.
You might not call yourself a newbie but almost everyone else in the water would. Sorry just being realistic :!:
