Surfing Waves

I know this has probably been asked to death but still need more advice.
I am looking for my first board, got the hang of the soft top. Standing and starting to turn. Looking at a Bic but what size??? 7'3 or 7'9?? Im 6'1 and about 13 stone! Live near the beach and im surfing twice a week with rented boards. Wanna get my own so i can progress, going after work etc. Any advice would be great! Cheers

At 6'1 and 13st, you'll make much quicker progress on the 7'9 than anything shorter.

If I were you I would get an NSP instead of a bic.They are lighter, harder to damage and easier to sell off once youre finished with them.

The bic sports (or whatever they are called) ones are comparable to NSP. The ones with black rubber caps on the top are awful though and I would avoid them like the plague.

MY opinion is Bic make good pens
