Mr jwardmagic, I'm very tempted to say something unkind, but in courtesy I ask you to post a picture of the board at the fin end so we can honestly suggest how to remove them. This is because I'm assuming they are not the removable kind? The others need a fin key and centre fins can be different again.
Are you competent with power tools? This is because I'm a little concerned about you using same.

I have pictorial warnings for angle grinders and other power tools hope I can help.

Now that I've had some fun go to the little black discs on the deck of the board they should unscrew by gripping with pliers, if you have no desire to preserve the board just cut under the discs with pair of bolt cutters or hack saw blade the fins will pull free.

If you can't be mature enough to give me a mature answer please don't bother. It is obvious I am new to this; so if you'd rather tell me how you'd like to be rude to me, and tell me that you feel I am not competant with power tools think twice and it may help you mature a bit.
Unlike some, there are beginners on here like myself, who have literaly just got into surfing. Please try to understand that, and respect it.

  I think it might be a bit late for that in Jaffa's case

Seriously though, in amongst all that was an important bit - show us a photo of the fins (from both sides of the board) and we might be able to help you out.

Thanks, I'm sorry you feel disrespected so I 'll use courtesy in this reply.
The information you wanted was in the reply, about the black discs, I'm answering you in a number of ways , about the Indo trainer, about a ply top with it to help your popping up. Please don't take surfing too seriously,it's going to sit you on your bum plenty of times.
I certainly don't take myself seriously and believe I'm still being sat.
It's about getting good enjoyment,, :!: now show us your fins :?

Nice picture. :D I am also not too competent with using power tools but most of the time my brother helps me anyway. I also do not own any power tools because I have no place where I can store them. Due to this whenever I need such tools I prefer a power rental. This is convenient and besides this I always get the right tools when I need them and I do not have to buy them.
