Fin setup quick question.

Hello there :-)
I have a 6"1 fish and it came with keel fins. Two big ones and 2 small ones.
Now i wanted to change my fin setups to one of those sharp fins. The usual ones and used two of the side fins from my old funboard and two smaller ones.
The problem is i'm not really sure which type should be up at front. The longer fins or the shorter ones. Or should i get 4 ones of the same length? I asked some of my friends here and they don't do quad setup so nobody can really tell me. I'm a weekend surfer so i don't wanna waste a month or two experimenting with it so i'd appreciate the help. Thanks!

The side fins of a thruster set up wont be suitable for a quad set-up.
Give it a go just to experiment, but if you've only got the weekend, then you'd be better off sticking with your standard quad set up.

Hi, thanks for the response! Actually had a few straight days off and experimented :-)
Very wobbly, like quads usually are. But i felt more control over it after a few rides than the keels.
Also for the first time since i started surfing, i got to trim up and down the line till the wave disappeared.
I'm not an experienced surfer but if i did that after switching to that setup, i'm guessing it would be a recommendable setup for beginners :-) Just a thought :-)
