I know I know.....another "what wetsuit" question, but I have totally confused my self to the point of being a rabbit in the headlights and can't commit to buy either!

So, I can get an xcel infinit xzip2 wetsuit or a billabong sol'n sg5 chest zip (winter suits)......i fit both pretty well, love the hype and tech on the billabong, but am worried that is just that - hype. and do those "solar panels" actually work...and when it's not sunny does it still perform?

A couple of reviews rate the billabong, and i've used an excel summer infiniti, but is there anyone here that's used both or just the billabong and can give me some pointers on which one to get? I can get both at the same price (in fact the billabong is cheaper!).....and they both fit well....

Any pointers or experience would be greatly appreciated.....

...and i've just seen the billabong sgx within my budget....oh balls

So, I went for an infiniti.

Managed to get one on the mighty ebay fairly massively reduced to minimise the risk!.....gotta say, I'm not that overly excited by it. When i come off (which to be fair is often) there's a lot of flush down the neck and through the chest area. Sure my old ripcurl ebomb wetsuit was worn out - but it doesn't flush and I can tighten it around the neck.

I just don't understand it? :? I've pulled that cord tight to try and stop water on the chest but that didn't work.

I think it's a year or 2 old the wetsuit - looks like it's not been used much as there's no nicks in it, no wear in the knees....am I just a freak that doesn't get on with it?
