While I was away at college, my mom moved my board from the garage to hanging outside of the house

It was covered from above but probably got hit by a bit of rain when it was windy. It's been out there for probably about 2 months. Its been cold enough to snow but not doesnt stick.
Is there a chance my board has been damaged by the cold, exposure to sun, and/or getting hit by rain occasionally?
It's a NSP board with the "tough ballistics skin" and "polished finish"

The sun can be hard on fiberglass boards, but for epoxy NSP surfboards I think you will be alright unless it gets really hot in the summer, and really cold in the winter. The sun also may fade your board. Why can't you take it back in the garage? Surfboards outside are also targets for theft. I would ask mom nicely to let you put your surfboard back in the garage, after you clean the garage for her.

Haha, yeah I found a place to hang it in the garage so it wont be outside any more. Other than some sort of dust (pollen?) and a leaf caught on the fin, I don't see any physical change/damage. I think it will be fine but I just wanted to check if there was a possibility that some sort of internal damage could've occurred. Thanks for the info.

Moms can do the funniest things. Anyway, the cold will not have caused harm. UV from the sunlight could, but the good news is it was Winter and winter has less sunshine. I bet there is no damage and you'll enjoy surfing again (and, hopefully, soon!).

I probably would have a heart attack if my mother put my board outside for two months. I bet she doesn't leave the car outside for 2 months! But I guess if your board didn't get yellow, and it wasn't dinged, it is fine. Just explain to her nicely that surfboards are like instruments, and should be taken care of with great care and love, that they aren't just simple toys. My board sleeps in my room, in a thick boardbag. The garage is only for if I'm surfing the very next day, early morning. Then I put it inside the car.
