Hey everybody,
kite surfer thx for help on my last question helped out a ton.
I want to put a piece of wood for the tail on a 10 footer im shaping, never done it before but this board is for me so good time to try it. I'm thinking glueing it on would be best with some clamps?? If i'm right does anyone know what glue is best to use? If i'm wrong what should I do?
thx again for the help

Hello,
You can use polyester resin to glue the wood tail block on your surfboard, if it is a polyester blank. If it is a epoxy blank you can use epoxy resin. You will then lay the fiberglass cloth on the whole board to go around the tail block and the blank helping to make the blank and wood tail block all like one unit. The fiberglass cloth will give you the added strength you are looking for. Good luck!
