Hi guys,
Im looking for
a new winter suit the
c skins wired wetsuits (either the winter or winter airloc) and
xcel infiniti are the two that are catching my eye also the rg8 looks pretty cool with its 3 holes to get water away but iv had an oneill epic before and wasnt that impressed with it. Just after a bit of advice really, I would like to know how durable, flexible and warm they are to help me decide which one to get and what you guys prefer would be interesting to know as well. Obviously im going to go for the best fitting suit out the ones i try on but would still be interested to know and compare. Nice one!

I have got a Xcel Infinity summer suit and C skins wired 5 4 winter suit and I think the C skins is fare supperior in quality and after using for 2 years still looks brand new, it is warm and flexible as When i bought it i weighed 13 stone and now i have put a few ponds on (14 stone) it still fits ok.
Had nothing but trouble with the Excel afetr 6 wears neck seam went and sent it back for repaire, returned neck seam went again, holes in the bum, some of the seam tap peeled off, very very comfy but I dont think i would by another Xcel in the end I have just been repairing the xcel with witch doctor glue my self (2 years old)
evcery one raves about Xcel but i have had problems and I have heared other horror stories. also with the Xcel i have found because they have full tapped rist and ankle seals when water does flush your suit it cant get out and balloons, the C skins has intermtant seal tape so the water can get out and I have found the C skins does not ballon.
the choce is yours!

Yep agree with Johno, C-Skins! I'm now into my third winter with my c-skins wired 6/4 hooded suit and I reckon I'll be wearing it next winter too! I have an O'neill 4/3 mutant too and it's good, but the neoprene has disintegrated on the inside of the suit under the right knee pad from duck diving. Need tougher knee pads O'neill if you're reading this!

Hey guys thanks for your input really appreciate it! Yeh think ill be going with the c skins. They sound more durable and seems you get more for what you pay for. Having tried both on now this has also been a deciding factor. Im a tall skinny guy. Just under 6ft at 70kg(ish) and the c skins fitted better in the shoulders and lower back. The xcel probably felt a little bit more flexible but only in the legs. I tried on the airloc and i can tell it will be very warm but the legs are thick! Once again thanks guys
