Hey guys, so I was closing my boot and forgot my board was sitting on the side where it closed. Basically I saw bit of white paint on the door and on the back corner of the board it feels tiny bit rough. Do I need to repair this? I don't think I did any damage but I just want to be safe and not end up with a waterlogged board.
Cheers guys,

just repair with sharkskin no sanding no drying time just cut your patch to size and press it over the damaged area check it out at sharkskinsurf.com then do the same thing for the next few dings!! if you surf a lot you know there will be more. the patch will hold and keep water tight for a VERY long time however for looks you will eventually want to go to a pro get a permanent repair

If it is cracked and water can get in you want to repair it. If not keep an eye on it and see if you can suck any water out of it when you are done surfing. You can also tape the area off exccept where your small chip was and spray acrylic clear spray paint on the damaged area. The acrylic clear will go into the small cracks and help seal them off, so water can't get in, and will not look bad because it is a clear finish. You may want to spot test a little before applying to much on your board to make sure it does not orange peal and is compatable with your board finish. Your other option is just sand the ding down and fix it with some fiberglass cloth and you know it is sealed up then. Good Luck! One small ding will not take that long to fix.
