Surfing Waves

has anybody ever ridden solana surfboards?
theyre a relativity unknown company as far as i can see, and since im aiming at buying on of their boards for the cheaper price and seemlingly good quality, i was curious if anybody has any experience or words about their boards. Ive been talking to the owner who seems to be a very honest dude who knows what hes talking about when it comes to surfing. Oh and theyre definatly not a pop out brand. I know this because he said he can custom shape a board for me, in a shape that isnt on their site (funshape hybrid with a sqaush tail)

I don't know much about them, but for the almost the same amount or a little more, a local shaper can probably make you custom board. At the very least, it won't hurt to call or email a few guys and see how much they charge. I really was surprised at how reasonable the cost was. I'm just trying to figure out what type of board to get made. Or you can always keep an eye out for a good used board from a more reputable brand/shaper for the same amount.
