is my new surfboard bag to tight?

Aloha! I just bought a new board bag for my surfboard on amazon and it seems a little tight. It fits in with a little shove. I was just wondering if it will eventually break in a little and can it be bad for the board cause its really snug.

A little shove is okay I reckon - a massive tug would be worrying however.

Thanks for the info. I'm just a little paranoid cause its a brand new board that cost me $700. You now how it is when you get a brand new board you treat it like a baby for a while.
