Shorty Wet suit

Postby Johno » Tue Jun 08, 2010 11:58 am

Hi all - I am looking at buying a shortie wetty for summer in north walse and a trip to sunny furventura for 2 weeks.

I bought a £20 one from aldi a couple of years ago it keeps me warm but realy hearts my balls and looks prity crap. I have been looking at ones for £40 flat locked (billabong) and some at £100 (oneal) glude sealed seams.

My question is is it worth paying the extra to get a sealed suit or will a flat lock be ok and keep me just as warm - I know if you buy a steamer flat locked it flushes at every seam.

Any advise on shorty wettys would be appreciated

Johno,
I have a Rip Curl Mens Wetsuit E Bomb Chest Zip Short Sleeve Springsuit (www.hansensurf.com/Rip-Curl-Mens-Wetsui ... gsuit.html). I really like chest zip suits because I can't reach behind myself to work a back zipper and almost no water enters them. My E Bomb is triple glued and blind stitched. I really like this suit.
