Leash Plug help

Hey guys, big swell down here in puerto rico today. Tried to kick out after a wave but my board ended up going with the wave and yanked out my leash plug. I had to swim back to the shore to get it. It just looked like it popped out, but does anyone have a good suggestion about how to keep it back in? I can pop it back into place but it doesn't feel sturdy and I've been weighing using superglue to try to hold it in.

Thanks!

Take some chopped up fiberglass or cabosil, mix in some resin/hardener. You want a thick consistency, not to runny. Fill the hole up half way then push your plug in. Clean up overflow and excess resin. Let dry for the day and bring her back into the water. If it weakend the area around it you prob want to lay a fiberglass patch ontop of it to reinforce it. Is your leash plug on the stringer or staggered off to the side?
