I don't want to throw out my faithful 3/2 that is a mix of being too big (I lost weight

), stretched out, and some leaky spots. Now, it served me well for about 3 good years and I'd like to retire it if I can get another 3/2. What can I do with the old suit? Like make things out of it etc?

Awesome, it just wouldn't feel right throwing it out. Have you made any of those?

yeah. beer coozies are the main things. but, I just got one of those kindle ebook readers for xmas and I am going to make a little sleeve for it out of an old 2mm, so I can toss it in my bag without worrying about getting scratched. if you have a sewing machine, it makes it easy, but sewing by hand is no big deal either. you can probably find stitch patterns on the web for how to do the seams.

here is an example of something you can do pretty fancy. but you can tone it down and do it by hand too:

cut the legs off and make a jacket for those breezy summer surf days. Its what i do with all my old suits. Found the ones i make are a lot better than the ones you can buy 1- its thicker and thus keeps me warmer on clouder windy days in the summer and 2 - it dont cost $70. Its a win win situation
