I'm interested in the 5'9 "tuflite" stretch fletcher 4. I surf on the East coast, specifically new jersey, and the waves range from small to somewhat descent. I'm interested in whether or not this would be a good board for this and whether or not tuflite is a good material. Thanks

I have a couple of friends that love this board for nor cal wave and pretty much use it in chest up waves around here. It wouldnt be my first choice for the east coast or for smaller waves. They seem to stall out in smaller weaker surf where my rocket or fish excels. If I was surfing in the east coast I think I would pull my rocket out of the quiver first. It takes off on small waves fast as long as the wave has a little shape to it. If you see smaller surf most the time look for something with a little more width through the board and some extra volume to get you moving.
