As the topic states. My velcro strap at the top of the neck of my suit that locks the zipper is no longer holding nicely and i literally have to restrap it like every 10 mins in the water. What are my options? Can velcro on wetsuits be easily replaced? Is it possible that the loops are becoming screwed up or is it always the velcro itself.

its probably the velcro and the zip that have gone as the zip shouldnt need the velcro to keep it in place as one of my suits the neck is completely gone it just flaps around but the zip stays. Or i might be mistaken?? But at any rate i guess you could buy some velcro and sow it on the neck piece.

Ja, the zip holds no problem either, its just the flapping (kinda annoying) and i guess it lets in a tiny bit more water than usual. I called a local surf shop and they said they can fix it for +-R150 (ZAR) so that's like +-$20. Whatevers :\ Might as well just let them do it and not have to worry about it.

Velcro REG is awsome - It's a cheaper hook and eye thing you have there surely - go buy some real Velcro and swap it out - no worries.
I have Velcro stuff that has has a battering for a decade and still functions very well indeed.
