Board Repair Help

Hi!

My new board got damaged after shipping. Really sucks. Now I need to repair it, as the shipping company doesn't want to pay for the damage.
Here are some pics of the board. I'm planning to just put some epoxy cure resin on top of it and shape it back. Any suggestions/ideas/ effective
procedure would be appreciated.

Yeah don't take no for an answer from the shipping company, get them to pay for a professional repair as that damage won't be that easy to fix.

Hi KS. Thanks for the advice. Yeah. I've sent a complain letter to the shipping company. They haven't responded. Given how it works here in the PI, I'm not expecting them. The seller is planning to give me 80 USD for the damage. I am not sure if that is enough for the repair.

Letters and emails tend to be forgotten about. When i have experienced these problems i always phone, get the persons name your dealing with and keep hassling them.
At least you've got some money though, it might be enough to fix.
My advice to anyone recieving surfboards through the post is never ever sign anything until you have inspected it throughly if there's any damage sign for it as "damaged upon reciept".
When i have blanks shipped i collect from the depot as the couriers started getting the neighbours to sign for them and of course they would just sign without checking.

Take the $80.00 and also go after the shipping company.
Defo looks like a nose slam into the ground to me.
Have a look at the shippers charter and what they promise their customer’s and go from there.
You can quote me as a back up for any complaint related to this incident if you like.
