Hopfully the pictures have lured you in to have a look and give some useful feedback as you do
Im not having alot of luck with my local classifieds for surfboard hunting...So Ive been looking at new Boards

Ive been to two of my local surfshops and have began pricing up Boards. I'll keep this updated as I find new boards
But I aim to have a board by next month. Only being able to hire and surf on the weekends is annyoing
Let me know what you think of the boards as I add more. Huge thanks

Here we go:

Board 1:
Voltage Surf - (pop out style board)
Size - 7"
Description - I couldn't get many photos of this board because of the small size of the shop. The board is quite heavy though, I think more heavy than the Soft board ive have been using. Had a standard Finish over the board. It was somthing I would expect to find at a supermarket...No offensive to Voltage, its just a standard Pop Out
Cost /Extras - £275 and comes with Fins, Leash, Wax and Bag

Board 2:
Mission Surf (Epoxy)
Size - 7"2
Description - This board looks and feels amazing. Its incredible Light, lighter than the previous board AND NSP boards that were also in the Board room. The Guy helping me out said they were proving very popular.
Cost/ Extras - £260 come with Fins and Wax (No leash or Bag )

The 7ft 2 epoxy is a good price and a sensible size for a first board.

Go with the epoxy board. I would avoid pop-out boards, they are not very good.

Im going to try a 7"2 NSP board this weekend hopfully, they are alot Heavyier than the "Mission" EXPOXY board posted above. So would you suggest I get the blue epoxy board? Im going to see if i can barter and get a bag and leash for a small amount extra.
Basically Ive gone from a 8" Foam to a 7" foam and im finaly on a 3 fin 7" softboard. So This would be the best next step and actually purchase my own board.
Are NSP boards considered Pop-Outs? Cant wait to try one out, its gonna give me the best idea of what the Mission surfboard will be like. Given the Mission board is lighter...is that better?

It is lighter, so it will be easier for you to carry. Also, epoxy boards are better made and not as cheap as pop-out boards. Pop-out boards are made to be cheap. If you get a pop-out board, you are going to want to get a better board pretty soon, because you will want more performance.

Im pretty Sure that I will get the "Mission Surfboard" I met a Guy in Falmouth today who would BEAT whatever Price I was previously offered for it. Including Fins, Leash, Wax and board.
Done deal if you ask me
Im still going to rent a NSP board tomorrow, get a feel for what my board will be like. However All the shops Ive been to favour Mission Boards to NSP. So im intrested to know who Mission surfboards are, because aparently they got renamed after the first company went bust and somone else brought the surfboard shape and tech.
As for second hand boards
completely off the questions, apparently all the Surf schools buy all the decent minmals for lessons and later sell them to students who get used to riding them. Clever...but annoying for me!

did you get the mission board ?? i'm looking at getting a board myself after using foamies for a few weeks.
if you dont mind me asking how tall are you, i'm 6'3" and so i think i may need a quite a long board like the 7'2" mission.

What board did you go for in the end and how did you get on with it? I'm looking to by my first board and have looked at quite a few boards. Mission seems to be a well favoured board due to the light weight and full nose shape.
