i'm 200lbs and i would say i'm an intermediate surfer. just wondering what size should i get if i buy a twin fin set-up board? never really tried twins before but i hear good reviews about it.

You should try one out if you can. Like everything else in surfing, it comes down to personal preference.

I guess you mean a fish? At 200lbs, you'd need to be around 6'2 for a retro, or 6'4+ for a modern hybrid fish.

But, in my humble :blah: :blah:
Twin fishes dont really work for the heavier guy - the high volume combined with the not-that-short length makes them really corky. Fishes only work if you can get them below 6'.

How tall are you? Im 5'9" 175-180 and ride a 5'11" x 20.75 x 2 5/8 pretty easily and it has plenty of float and i could go smaller easily. These boards have a insane amount of float. My next one will most likely be a 5'9" and 2.5 inches thick since this one has to much float for me. I bet a 6' x 21" x 2 3/4 would do you fine at your skill level. If you go with lokbox fins then you should pick up the CI Keel fins. I originally had the pavel keel hauler fins and was stalling out a bit but switching to the ci keels really opened the board up in smaller surf.
