Hi so I've been an on and off not so serious surfer for the past 6 years. One summer I surfed regularly like 3 times a week, but haven't done so in the last 3 years.

I had a BZ 7'6" Funboard Foam at the time, but i've also borrowed some friend's long boards etc.

Now I want to purchase another Funboard probably Epoxy because it's cheaper and can take a beating. This is at least to start with, I hope to move down on boardsize eventually get a custom nicer board.

I'm 27, athletic, 6 feet, 175 lbs. I plan to surf at least once (or more) per week this summer. I live in the southbay area of Southern california, and used to surf Redondo, Manhattan Bch etc which have smal waves.

I've been looking at cheap boards in the 200-300$ range for now. Would you recommend Epoxy or Fiberglass??

- I saw some 'Phase One' for $275 that is a possibility, has anoyne heard of Phase One they're located in Southern California
-Also I was looking at a 'Millennial' surfboard sold by an eBay company called Discount Water Sports of Orange County.

So what would you all recommend? :)

Ummm...I think you want to steer clear of the millennial boards, but I can't remember for sure. Phase one is some local shaper in the LA area, and that's all I really know. http://www.yelp.com/biz/phase-one-surfboards-gardena
