I wanted to get a bag for my 6’5” surfboard, what size would you recommend? Do you usually get the bag a few inches bigger so you can put stuff in it, like a towel? I went to one of the surf shops here and they have a 6’7” and a 7’ in stock would either of those work or should I go with something else? If you have any other information that would help with my decision like straps, zippers, etc please share. Thanks

it's a bag? nothing too dramatic to pick between. i'm a fan of the creatures of leisure slimfit bags. just because they trim a lot of the excess materials and aren't so bulky. i'd go with the 6'7" bag. but take your board with you just to make sure it'll fit happily inside. most bags say on the tag 'for shortboards 6'2"-6'8"' or something like that on them

depends. if you only want it as a day bag then get it so your board only just fits, if as a travel bag or if you're unsure go with the bigger bag. wouldn't get a sock because for the extra few quid you can get a bag.

I would go with a bag that is about two inches larger than your board. I have an OAM bag and I can fit two boards, my wetsuit, wax, boots, and a towel no problem. But as mentioned above, it is a bit bulky.
