I have a Bisect and I am very happy with it it beats so many longboard charges when traveling. The Yankodesign seems to have too much stuff to lug around , easy to lose bits? might not be true only my opinion when viewing the website :D

the yanko doesn't semi to be for sale. the bisect appears to be the only option in the world. no off the shelf for a short board. really annoying

How much did you pay for it?

It cost for the Australian model 9'1" AUD$2000ish it comes with bag all the bits extra screws, and locking bits and pieces. Oh and a Tee shirt, but I bought it about 4 years ago now, it is epoxy so a little floaty but it has saved me on average about $100 to $150 each way on trips that charge for long boards and has allowed me to travel on non surfboard flights with it as personal sporting equipment, for less than a set of golf clubs    The performance of the board is a good slightly above average longboard so I'm happy :D
I'm not sure whether they still do poly individual boards in the US their site is down.
One important thing they did have a carbon fibre stealth model , but it was very problematic and a secondary dealer was not being responsive to claims or backing the product.
No problems with the stock standard Wayne Rich models>

Still no shortboards it seems. You have to commission your own and it's >2x the price. Still... I'm thinking about it... maybe if I can sell my other boards

Ok weigh up the pros and cons, the cost is definitely worth it if you travel a lot, as some of the charges beat your wallet up severely.
I mean ten costly flights would recover your investment down to less than a standard board, I keep my board only for difficult travel destinations and have a day to day go board quiver. But then at the moment I am fortunate with money and I keep my boards for years and years.

Cue the blind surfboard shaper......... He picked his surform and saw!

Big project, success could be a better mousetrap idea!

Go for it, if you achieve a new way of doing it , seriously patent it! :D
