Wetsuit Problem?

Postby b123 » Sun Mar 01, 2009 11:24 pm

Not sure if this is so much a problem as me being too paranoid, but I just wanted to make sure. I have an Xcel Infiniti that is, at the most, 1 month old, and it seems like the tape around a leg is starting to rip/peel back/come off. Should I be worried at all? It also seems like in other areas, the tape might be a little loose or something.
Thanks

shouldn't be too much of a problem atm, they have a year warranty on seems? a bit of wetsuit glue could cure it but suit shouldn't be doing that after only a month

had a funny feeling this was going to be an Excel! the same thing happened to my 3/2 infinity on the legs after a couple of uses, do not repaire it your self! I left it till the tape came off and till the water was to cold to were it (bought in Aug 2008 wore till Nov 2008) by that time the thin piece round the neck had come off too and a few other seams were peeling back, tuck it back the shop and they sent it off for repaire, that was in december 2008 still not had it back but not realy chasing it because its still a bit cold. the neaprean is guarnted for a year and seams for life, if you repare it yourself it voids the warrenty, I heared this big hipe about Xcel so got one, but the qulity on mine seams to be poor, very comfy thow

Thanks for the responses. Do I return it to the shop or do I send it myself to xcel?

If you kept the reciept, i would take back to the shop and let them sort it out, saves you the postage sending it back to xcel.
