Surfing Waves

hello i need a bit of help choosing my first board.
im about 5"7
im just over 8 stone

ive surfed for a couple of days in oz got to my feet but not for very long.
i was thinking about this board............ 6'2 Shortboard NSP surfboard

any input would be great

That board is about 2ft too short, and also is cr@p.
If you can just 'get to your feet but not for very long', then you dont need a shortboard yet.
And noone needs an NSP shortboard ever.

You need to get a mini-mal, or at the very least a reasonably floaty funboard.
