Call me a noobie if you want, but I was wondering what the angle on the forward fins achieves?

Hey man, no worries. That angle (cant) achieves more drive and keeps speed better through turns and on the face of the wave. If you can imagine the board at an angle as if during a turn or on the face of a wave, the bottom fin (during a turn) or the inside fin (on a face) will have more penetration through the water therefore giving more drive and losing less speed, well at least thats the theory.... :)
Hope that makes sense.

Fair amount of toe in as well.
Good looking board though, looks like that tail would be pretty easy to sink during manouvers

Sick board, didn't look like a 6'8 in the pics, but looks like it would be a lot of fun in mush.
