new fins

I'm gonna get some new fins for my crappy 7'6" mini mal just to give it some more longevity plus when I do upgrade from it I can keep the fins for the next board, but what fins shall I get?
I've just blagged some fcs g5's (but just the outside two, not the middle one) from my surf shop and they improved it quite a lot but was wondering if there's better fins out there than these? I'm sure there are as these seem to be an entry level fin.
I just want to cruise down the line but be able to turn a bit, the original fins were so flimsy I could barely trim with it!

You'll pretty much find any glass fins will be an improvement over polycarb ones if you are surfing on the green face. Even one's identical to your current polycarb one's!

Ideally you get a set a good foiler has designed for you and your board. That isn't always an option (mamily for $$$ reasons).

If you are going to buy fins and are pretty new I suggest going to a good surf shop and talking to someone there who actually knows somethinng about fins. Like their shaper.

To be honest I think G5s are fine... But hyped up.

G-5's are fine and will work good, a better keel fin is what your realy wanting. That is if you have a adjustable center box of course.
