how much should I pay for this board

I am thinking about buying a used degree 33 board from someone.

This is the board:

http://www.degree33surfboards.com/9-6-E ... eps105.htm

It is claimed that the board has been used only twice and is like new.

I'm a beginner, so I don't know how to estimate its worth.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

wow that board is a beast. How much is the guy selling it for?

I know nothing about degree 33 boards but an epoxy long board for $450 might be a popout. But as a beginer that might not be such a bad thing.

The guy wants $250 for it. Do you think it is worth that?

This company claims they aren't popouts. How would one know if it was?

Thanks a lot. I appreciate it.

$250 sound slike a good price - however its up to you if you think this is the right board for you and you cant find a better deal then go for it. It certaintly sounds like a good board to learn on.

As far as them claiming not be popouts doesnt mean a thing. Not to throw names out there but i know a few surfbrands that claim to have shaped boards for such and such pro's but thats a load of tosh. So always take what you read on the net with a pinch of salt its natural for a company to hype their brand online. I would

As far as spotting popouts there are methods but based on the price and the fact it is a longboard i would be highly surprised if it isnt. But like as said its not much of an issue as a beginer

Epoxy longboards usually go for at least 500. Looks like a decent deal.
