On my 6'10" fatboy thruster it turns out I was given completely the wrong fins for it and need to replace them asap.
I weigh about 100kg so need quite a bit of surface area for my 3 fin thruster.
Any ideas or suggestions would be great!!

No he put on G 3000s which when I looked it up are for '5'6" or less with lightweight surfers' neither of which is right for me!
Due to my weight i need as much drive as i can get from the fins but being in Cornwall need to be versatile since the waves i ride vary between 1-8ft
Cheers

how good are you at surfing? are you finding that you are sliding out during bottom turns? it takes quite a lot of surfing experience before you are able to tell the difference between fins. if oyu are not having too any problems with them then i wouldnt reccommend shelling out for some new fins.

Not that good- only been doing it for a few months so proper learner. I'm having trouble getting any drive to catch a lot of waves then once on them there is a lot of wobble and yeah it slides out a lot when on bottom turn- all in all the set up is not good!

go to fcs.com they have a fin finder application that goes through your size/ability/board/conditions/etc. it's pretty sweet
