Hey y'all. I just turned in my board to be repaired for a broken fin plug. Dude is charging me $30. Am I supposed to tip or something? I don't want to insult him, nor do I want to be rude and not give a customary "tip". Thanks.

nah. he has a price for the repair so no need. if you are gonna tip him then make sure the job is done properly but i never do. just pay the asking price

who dosent like tips?? If they are cool they will remember you next time and it could go a long way, but agree make sure it's done right before a tip is thrown down.

If you feel like tipping him then just give him a can of beer when you get the board back. There's nothing i like better than having an ale after ive finished doing some work/faffing on a board.
