Board damage: Bumps on deck from fin plugs

Hi guys,
I have this question rewarding a board im about to purchase.

It is a 4 fin 5´8´´ CI Pod. It has a few preassure bumps and a few repairs. Yet what worries me is that the FCS fin plugs have created bumps on the deck, as if they would wanna come out.
Two of them have already made small cracks all around the circunference of the plug. Eventhough they seem small I believe that they need to be reapaired to prevent water from going inside.

Is this a bad sign that it´s probably going to get worse over time?
or would just a little patch over them take care of the problem?.

Every board gets worse over time, its called: "wear and tear"
Personally I dont like buying secondhand boards, I'd rather buy a new one and be 100% sure what waves the thing has been through and what abuse its taken
But if you really like the board, then yes, a patch over the plugs should be fine. My shortboard, that I regretingly sold, also developed cracks around the plugs and the stuff that you talking about, but I didnt really bother doing anything about them and the board is still intact (but in some other lucky buggers hands...Dammit!!)

Well the board wasnt ridden that much. Since its a small wave board and the guy had several other boards he didnt use it that much.
Besides a few small preassure pouints and a small repair the boiard is still okay to go.
And the price is the best selling point: $200 for a "still white" CI board?.
I checked with a shop and they said that it doesnt need any repairs at the moment but that it would need in a near future so i decided to put a patch over the 4 outer plugs..... They will charge me just $10 bucks for this... and the guy is going to hand me down a free leash for the hassle.
