What is the best glue to use on wood? I just found out that waterproof wood glue is not that waterproof ....False advertising I rate, or cheap quality

So what eco-friendly glue can I use on wood that wont become weak in water? And wont harm the environment?

can you get Gorilla Glue where you live? Not only is this glue 100% water proof, you spray a light water mist (from bottle) on it to activate it. Take a look at this web page and watch the little video, too:

Gorilla Glue makes several products. You do NOT want the Gorilla Wood Glue. You want the original brown formula that can bond nearly anything. Like the guy says in the video, don't apply too much. "Less is more."

Hey thanx hey. Na I doubt we can get that stuff here, its hard enough finding waterproof glue. But thanx for the post

When I said it isnt that waterproof, I meant it was like 95% waterproof. The glue went a shade of white when I put the plank that it was on in the pool. But to be honest, I didnt give it enough time to cure. I should have left it for 24hrs, not 12.

Thank you, but its ok. I looked through the South African websites and found a 100% waterproof extreme conditions glue that is well....for extreme conditions. Its the same brand that I tried first, just a different model. The one I tried first was Alcolin Ultra, which says is waterproof but not how waterproof. The one that I found was Alcolin Extreme, Which says is 100% waterproof. So I'll try find that in our hardware stores
