looking for a new winter suit since my 3/2 didn't quite keep me warm enough in the 50 degree water...what would be a good 4/3 suit to look at? i've looked at the mutant, e-bomb/f-bomb, and xcel superflex...any good ones that i've overlooked?

I surf about once a week in NorCAL. My water temps are 50F to 55F. I use an Xcel Superflex 4/3 that I bought used from a kite board shop. I've been using it for about a year and find it keeps me pretty warm. On days when it is especially cold or I'm not up to par, I wear a sleeveless lycra rash guard. As stated, it keeps me pretty comfortable, it is well made with quality materials, and is durable.

I'm not convinced that my Xcel suit has as much stretch as some more expensive suits, especially those without a back zipper. One of my buddies has a Quick Silver chest zipper suit. It's ultra stretchy and he says it is VERY warm. He has me about talked into one.

I have been using the Matuse hoplite 4/3/2 for the past year and I have never been more comfortable in the water. I have worn it in 50-65 degree water. Once it got into the high 50s to 60s I have been roasting my butt off and have spent a decent amount of time soaking and letting water into the suit trying to stay cool. It is very stretchy and for once I don't feel like I am fighting my wetsuit when I paddle.
