Leaving board in car and effect of heat

Hi there,

I have an insulated, heat resistant, board bag and have been leaving my board in the bag in the car for several days in a row. I live in Southern CA and right now the temp is low to high 70s during the day. I leave the windows cracked and the car is partially shaded for some of the day, but am I potentially hurting my board by not storing it in the garage every night when I get home (and in the facilities room at my work while I'm at the office - I surf in the morning then go straight to work which is why I bought the bag in the first place; so I could leave it in my car)?

Thanks in advance for your opinions and advice!

Normal glass/foam board? Excess heat could cause it to delaminate. At what point I dont know.

Try to park your car under a tree or a shade.

I wouldn't - have totally killed a longboard leaving it in a bag in the car before, in the UK, so not that hot.

start a new craze, amoblina. take that board into the office! There are always boards in my firm's Ventura office - every day. Sometimes you see boards in our San Diego and SF Bay area offices, too.
