I have talked to people that don't think they are worth anything and talked to people who love them.

OK - I'll get in here before a whole load of people who've never actually tried the thing come in and slag it off..............
I bought one about three years ago (from the US - as they cost silly money over here) and at first, I thought it was pretty good.
It certainly made the board more stable compared to the standard fin that was on the board (9'3" board - I think the standard is 7" and the TT was a 9" job - something like that anyway....), although it didn't notice ANY effect to stabilse the nose (but that could have just been my kookness). Did it make it slower or faster??? Who knows. I certainly didn't notice any differences, although I guess there'd be a drag issue, but I REALLY don't think it'll matter to 99.9% of surfers.......
Anyway - now I've progressed from those early 'ride into the beach' days, I find I'm always looking for the board to be less stable and more turny - and the TT just isn't that kind of fin IMHO.
I've tried it in all positions on the finbox, but now I'm back to using my smaller standard fin to allow the board to move around a bit more.
In fact, before I sold my Nine Plus Magic Carpet, I used that fin in my board and found it gave far better performance than either the standard fin or the TT.
So - long and short - it makes the board more stable.
Whether you want that is entirely down to your surfing style I guess........

If you're referring to the Turbo Tunnel - no, we don't sell them. But I bought one for myself and used it quite extensively - hence being able to comment on what I found.
Your comment about it being gay based on you googling it is hardly any form of critique, is it??
Oh - and I'm perfectly chilled Phil - but people slagging off a product they've never even used is a bit daft.......

gettin a bit handbaggy lads....
not too be slagging you off SI but it seems there aren't a whole lot of innovations out there... have been following your site and it hasn't been updated in a while... maybe you should be stocking them.. sounds like its right up your alley!
also those cardboard surfboards aswell... from a design standpoint, if they work then they truly are innovative.
