How to shrink boardshort?

I have a boardshort that is a little bit too big and I can't refund it or sale it. Any of you guys have a trick in laundry or shrinking size of cloth, pants and boardshort??

try before you buy next time, or as essex rightly says, put on some weight?

Darn it if i put on more weight its gonna be harder to pop up, which is gonna affect my surf

any other advice you guys got other than me being better.

I'm sorry to say it, I think you're sol, as the material most boardshorts are made of won't shrink. You may take them to a tailor or try to take them in a bit at the waist on your own, if you do it right it will be barely noticable.
