nsp's never fixed one. But what i would do with my board is either use QCELL to fill and then fiber glass over that. Or use shapers dust then glass. Another alternative is plumbers putty (not the calking stuff but the green n white mix) that works a treat and then glass over.

Looks like an easy ding to repair so shouldnt be too mmuch hassle. In fact its ironic but im busy fixing a ding just like that for someone.

Would I need to repair both of these cracks?
The 1st 2 pictures are of the same crack - this is the one i'm most worried about..??
WOuld I need to repair the other crack also?
The reason I'm asking this is my first board and am just looking for pointers - cheers

Would this be the stuff to buy:-

stir stick and mix cup? it sounds like it's the liquid epoxy... liquid epoxy is quite annoying to apply, not to mention the poision fume... epoxy putty 2 part mix is easier, you can just mix with wearing gloves which i dont...

sand off the paint and sand down the dings a bit using like 100-200 grains sand paper so the surface is a bit rough to make sure the putty doesnt fall off easily, but then it is quite sticky anyway... also get the chips out also then apply the putty. leave for half a day to a day and sand it down from 400 to 800s grain until it's smooth, or event up to 2000 grains then apply white paint to finish your job, hope this helps...

The second crack doesnt look like its even penetrated, so you could get away with not repairing it... probably... :?

But why not just repair it - it doesnt take long, and is quite a satisfying thing to do. Both of those dings are very minor and can be repaired with a simple ding repair kit (an epoxy one).

It wont take long, and then the board will be as good as new, or at worst have a couple of battle scars :D

I've used that one - or very similar - the only problem with it is that its grey. No problem if you're planning on touching up the paintwork afterwards, but not so great if you just wanna fill the gap on a white bit.

A lot of kits are clear (ish) or white, which might be better.
