ding in my board?

right, it has come to my attention that board seems to have aquired a ding. i have no idea where it came from or if its even a ding so thought id ask for help. its on the underside and looks like someones put a thumb print in it, if that makes any sense. do i need to get a ding repair kit or what? please help cos my knowledge is pretty shoddy!

Dings are inevitable, but easy to fix...taking it to a surf shop to repair the ding is the easiest way...but the most expensive!
To fix it yourself, it depends on the ding....if the fiberglass is not broken in and no water is getting to the foam, you don't have anything to worry about.
But at sometimes by looking at it you can miss a tiny crack...if so you will get some water damage.
If I have a pressure ding that looks as if water might be able to get to the foam, I will seal it in with this stuff called quick fix puddy...if I have time, and it is a serious ding, I sand it down real good, clean the area, and apply more resin, once dry I lightly sand. The kits are pretty cheap, but I like to get different grit sand papers.
