sounds wicked. you seem to be sorted for a while if you have those 3 to shape. you going to do one and then start another when thats finished? if so what ones coming first?

I figure i'll start off with the 6'6 mainly as i have a 6'8 and a 6'4 already so a 6'6 will come in handy. Then i will duplicate my buddies fish.

I will shape, airbrush, glass then repeat untill all three are done. Then who knows.

silly,
i can never make up my mind when it comes to selecting designs, so there is nothing for me to suggest to you. I am very interested in seeing the paint after different stages along with some notes about how you are doing.

How did you get them for free?
Take some step by step pics if you can.

I got the blanks free cause my friend took pitty on me and managed to raid the factory so to speak of what was lying around dissused :D

i have power planer, surform, block plain, enough sand paper to build a mountain  and just about everything else.

Busy taking snaps as i go along. - drawing the template on without te use of shapers templates was a complete guit but i got it in the end. Have cut it out and trued the rails piccies coming soon.

Having a lot of fun doing it so far have not had a cussing fit as of yet im sure thats yet to come

Was too tired to take any pics but i have them up to the part where i cut the template and trued the rails.

I have allready put in the concaves done the rocker and almost finished the rails i should finish the board tomorrow Thus far im pretty stoked with how things are going but jeez i wish i had a disk sander pluss the foam as i suspected was gonna give me hell when i started plaining fortunatly i predicted that and gave myself some room for errors that were fixed in sanding  . And then its on to phase two and thats the graphics.

Hope you like my makeshift rack

Will update as soon as i get a chance
