Winter Wetsuit For Big Boobs...

Hey everyone,
I need some wetsuit help. The clue's in the subject there! I'm a really short (5 ft) girl; usually wear a clothes size (UK)10. All sounds pretty normal, well not really, I have disproportionately large breasts (30F!) and I'm finding it really hard to find a wetsuit that fits. Anytime I've surfed I've just hired wetsuits and usually use a size Small which fits fine apart from in the bust area where the restriction is very painful! I tried using a larger size to accommodate my bust but it was too big otherwise so freezing water was getting in my sleeve and neck! Anyway, I'm looking to buy my first winter wetsuit and I'm looking for advice on which brand/size to go for. I've been told Rip Curl is good for my midgetness but I also need something to accommodate my bust!
Thanks in advance, this is quite embarrassing really!

Um thanks, big boob fan!
Does any particular brand have more stretchy, elasticated properties in the chest area to allow for more room and make it more comfortable for me to wear?
Thanks!

I know that the suits are cut to girls shapes, hips etc, most of them do stretch !!

I think Gul are supposed to cut wetsuits well for curvy women. I dont know what they're like for height though Im afraid, I have never tried on a ripcurl suit. have you tried any on yet? It is better to judge from trying different ones on, for example a size 10 Cskins barley looks like it would fit a small child so your boobs probably wont fit in there, you could try on a 12+ and try and stretch the top a bit, it should fit the bottom half still.
Take a day to go to some surf shops and try lots of different brands! Or get one made by Snugg for yourself.

Thanks a lot for that! I'll look into it. I don't really have the luxury of trying on wetsuits as there's no shops near where I live and I've mostly been surfing in more remote areas. Thing is the rented suits in any size above 10 are too big for the rest of my body! It's really annoying! I'll definately look into that more stretchy one. A custom fitting would be ideal though!

I've no idea how expensive they would be, but I know for fact Snugg custom fit wetties. I've got a mate who had to get one made for him to house his rather large gut! Might be worth getting in touch with them?

look for suits with 100% ultraflex/ultrastretch/superstretch features.
usually the higher end of the range but they should accomodate your frame.
plus i would highly reccomend trying one on before buying it, especially a winter suit coz an ill fitted winter suit will kill off any surf session, trust me.
don't know where the nearest surf shop to neverland is but ask peter pan or the lost boys they'll point you in the right direction no doubt.

I would highly recomend trying on the suite first if you are buying an off the rack suite. Ultra stretch is a must. I would also look into a custom made suite if the broplem is there it ussually does not cost that much more and it is better to be comfortable.

We'd probably need pictures to make a more informed discission....
haha
If you have the $ you could get one custom made, it's would keep you warmer if it fits properly and would probably last longer

Several pictures. Coths will , uh, ruin the assesments...
Seriously I know local (seventhwave) wettie makers will do a custom for about $70NZ more than an off the shelf, worth as look see if you can find someone to make one.

£220 for a 5/4/3 Snugg x-stretch custom fit suit. These are supposed to be really good suits too. I've seen alot of people wearing them up here.

Down in Santa Cruz, California, there are a couple of small business that make custom fit suits. They really don't charge much more than off the rack manufacturers. Maybe you can find a little business like this, or with the high value of the pound vs the dollar, come over here to have your suit made. If you want some help to to this, let me know.

I know of 2 custom wetsuit makers in Santa Cruz: Heat Wave Custom Wetsuits and Hotline wetsuits. Both will make a custom suit for you, my friend has a Hotline suit, loves it, actually paid less than i did for my Quicksilver suit.

Seconded.
We are all a bunch of creeps, aren't we brothers? I suggest getting a custom suit or the new super-stretch Billabong has out.
