Crack on Rail

Postby oibaf » Tue Oct 16, 2007 6:57 pm

I really need a little advice on this, I have a crack on the rail of my board and have done the "suck test" and it seems to be airtight and I dont get any water, just not sure if I should use some solares or leave it alone, plus i have wax on it cause it is where I place my hands to duck dive so there is definatly some wax in the crack. Any suggestions?

Firstly i don't wax rails to duck dive??

Scrape away wax n try again?

If the crack seems to be air tight but your not sure? Clean off wax, get some sandpaper, create a lil v along crack and fill with resin.

Alternatively wax your hands, it works a treat.

Excellent advice Kitesurfer. I also wax my feet instead my board. My feet don't slip and I get to keep my board looking oh so purty.
