Hey Guys, first post, just stumbled across the site today, great stuff.

I'm from Ireland but living in OZ (Brisbane) at the moment. I want to pick up a board ASAP. I'm a beginner. Finding it a bit harder than i thought
to pick up a decent second hand board around my price range (250-400$). I was thinking something like a custom minimal 7ft based on some of the advice on this site. Tried some of the surf shops on the gold coast and sunshine but nothing really suitable, they seem to go as soon as they come into the shop. Anyway I've come across this on e-bay:

I'm wondering if this board would be suitable or a bit small for my level/build. I'm 5'8'' and about 10st(65kgs).

Also, there seems to be tonnes of these 'foam core fiberglass cover' boards on e-bay.

The cheap price has me sligthly suspicious of them. Any opinions on these boards?

Any other good spots to pick up second hand boards in the Brisbane area
besides the gold and sunshine coasts?
